Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description:
Design, develop, implement and test complex multilayer machine and measurement state control software for Xitronix' 300mm metrology platforms. Implement SEMI compliant HMI (GUI) for metrology systems. Coordinate internal and external project teams and provide technical support to team members. Interface reviews with OEM subsystem staffs. Manage requirements documentation. Responsibilities include ownership of measurement state control module, GUI development and communications with automation interface. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years experience developing software applications utilizing LabView, C++, C#, .NET, Linux, Java, VB, SQL, SQL server, XML, SOAP, data bases, RTOS and/or embedded code
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in computer science
  • Experience with advanced GUI development
  • Demonstrated highest level of attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic work environment
  • Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Domestic travel is estimated at 5%

Preferred: Project management skills

Sr. Engineering Technician

Job Description:
Assemble and test all sub-assemblies of Xitronix' 300mm tool, the XP700. Responsibilities include electro-optical component installation, configuration and alignments. Requires a BS in Engineering. Work closely with internal and external teams to identify and resolve design conflicts as they occur. Additional responsibilities include installation and maintenance of products and equipment in the field. Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and optical systems will be routine.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of electronic instrumentation, electro-mechanical, optical and wiring experience
  • Skilled at the interpretation of schematic diagrams and dimensional drawings
  • Excellent team and interpersonal skills
  • Strong equipment troubleshooting skills (electrical, robotic, pneumatic, mechanical, optical, control systems and others)
  • Knowledge of safety best practices
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic work environment
  • Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Domestic and Foreign travel is estimated at 40%

Preferred: Semiconductor metrology or production tool maintenance experience
